INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
- Process customer requests for material, equipment and weld testing services.
- Consult with customers, interpret welding code, determine weld qualification requirement.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, process customer orders and purchase orders for materials and services.
- Coordinate testing service orders with inside and outside testing laboratories.
- Confirm customer weld qualification requirements to offer appropriate materials and testing services.
- Navigate and interpret welding codes such as; ASME IX, AWS, API to verify weld qualification requirements.
- Prepare mechanical test reports and welder qualification records for completed testing services.
- Managing equipment calibration requirements
- Quality records maintenance
- Proven experience in a sales role in Manufacturing, Construction or Welding (Certified Welding Inspector, Welding Engineer, Weld Operations Manager, Metallurgist or similar) industry sectors.
- Knowledge of various welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Organized, highly-motivated and reliable.
- AWS Professional Certification is desirable.
- Destructive Testing experience is desirable.
