Description
6GR welding position is in accordance with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code, which qualifies welder for all positions, all TKY joints. The "R" in 6GR refers to the restrictive ring placed 1/2" uphill of weld joint with test assembly in the 6G position.
Test kit includes:
1pc. of 6" sch. 120 x 6" A106B beveled both ends @ 37-1/2deg match bored .04" land
1pc. of 6" sch. XXH x 6" A106B faced square both ends
1pc. 1/4" x 18" diameter A36 restriction ring
Each piece marked with heat number.
Certified mill test reports provided.
